Today we celebrated the opening of a new Tesco Express store on Pearse St. Dublin 2. The new store will created 16 jobs, and we now have over 4,500 colleagues in the capital!
Speaking about the launch, Store Manager Pamela Maxwell said: “We are extremely pleased to bring 16 new permanent jobs to the city centre and to provide a positive boost to the locality. The new store’s aim is to meet the day-to-day needs of busy customers who require quality, value and convenient solutions that make their shopping lives easier. The new store will feature value driven on-the-go food options and a store layout designed to make the shopping experience quick, simple and enjoyable.”
With conveniences and choice at heart, our new store will offer a wide range of grocery lines for shoppers to choose from such as a salad bar, on-the-go meal deals, fresh meats, cooked meats, a bakery, deli goods, dairy goods, dry groceries, frozen foods, news and magazines, and a selection of beers and wines.
The St Andrew’s Resource Centre, Pearse Street Old Folks Association and St Vincent De Paul have been nominated as the first three local good causes to take part in the store’s first Community Fund initiative. Pearse Street is also using FoodCloud to donate their surplus food to charities!
So best of luck to all our colleagues in our newest store!!
